The STEAMCenter<\/strong> is a modern Educational Center that, inspired by Gardner's contemporary pedagogical theory regarding multiple types of intelligence, aims for a holistic approach to the educational process<\/strong> supporting the work of modern schools.<\/p>

By studying symmetry in nature and geometric shapes, we build a robotic structure that helps us draw symmetrical shapes and concentric circles. Accuracy and coordination are principles that we must pay special attention to so that the result is impressive. By discussing these questions we build a humanoid robot. We observe if it has all these characteristics that it should and then program it. Through tests and interventions, the children study how to transmit the robot's movement, balance and gait. At the end of the lab the humanoids have a mission, to get to the lab first.     The workshops are adapted and differentiated based on the age of the children as follows:<\/strong><\/p>

    For each category you can choose between two topics, related to the robotic construction with which the children will deal.
    During the workshop the children have the opportunity to build and program their own robot.
    In each unit robotics is approached thematically, thus helping children to connect their existing knowledge of the world with something new and different.
    As a group, under the guidance of the teachers, they complete the robotic construction, observe it and make assumptions about the way it is constructed, its function and its special characteristics.
    Thus, coming into contact with the basic concepts of programming, they put their robot into operation.
    They experiment, test, readjust and observe their construction.
    Experientialists understand principles of engineering and take an active role in the experimental process by disproving or verifying their initial assumptions about the structure and function of the structure.<\/p>

    Educational robotics is the practical application of theoretical knowledge, thus giving students the opportunity to consolidate concepts, love Science and Technology and realize that they can in this way benefit and benefit society and the world.
    At the same time, it is a very useful tool for the development of the child's structured thinking as well as his fine motor skills.<\/p>

    Educational Robotics is a new Science in which elements of software development, mechanical engineering and the study of human behavior are combined.
    It is a fact that its first integrated applications appear in fields such as medicine and industry.
    Educational robotics is inextricably linked to STEM education, as it makes full use of Technology and Mathematics.
    Through educational robotics, children learn to build and program robots, staying up-to-date on current technological developments.
    In the first robotics lessons, students use processors, sensors, motors and building blocks to build their own robot.
    Then, with specially configured software, the students set their constructions in motion via a computer, acquiring programming (engineering) and problem solving skills.
